School Leadership Emphasis

The School Leadership emphasis is intended for educators who want to build school-level leadership knowledge and skills. The curriculum focuses on the principal's role in articulating, developing, and implementing a school vision that aligns with and supports district priorities. You will examine the leadership skills needed to evaluate the systems and processes for continuous school improvement; protect the interests of school and community stakeholders; and integrate your personal expertise with current best practices and legal and ethical standards to promote school achievement.
